The Acts 29 Oak Hill Academy partners with like-minded organizations and networks that will aid in the development and implementation of in-context theological training around the world.
Oak Hill College
Oak Hill Theological College is a long-established provider of full-time and part-time residential accredited evangelical theological training for Anglican and Independent churches, mission, and youth and children's work.
In Partnership with BibleMesh, Porterbrook has made theological education available in the context of the local church through the internet. BibleMesh and the Academy course catalogues offer resources for rooting discipleship in the Bible story. BibleMesh courses are all about getting Christians back to the bible. BibleMesh's biblical story course is a fabulous resource teaching Christians how the bible story fits together. Their passion to put Scripture back into the driving seat of discipleship and mission has led them to develop innovative biblical language courses delivered online.
Acts 29 is a diverse global family of church-planting churches who, for the sake of Jesus and the gospel, want to plant new churches and replant dead and dying churches across the whole world. It is a single-issue network (church planting) which is theologically robust, missionally innovative and culturally engaged. They do this in obedience to the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20) and with the goal of seeing countless lives changed by the gospel through the power of the Spirit for the glory of God.
The members of the churches they are planting recognise themselves as missionaries in their own contexts, planted by Jesus in the world to spread his fame and extend his gracious rule.
The Crowded House
The Crowded House is the birthplace of the Porterbrook Network. It is a gospel initiative seeking to reach the lost through planting communities of light in unreached areas of cities towns and villages. Its values are shaping all of life around the gospel in the context of community.
